“Don’t worry about being successful but work toward being significant and the success will naturally follow.” ~Oprah Winfrey

So, as I go about running my business, there are SO MANY things to remember. On the plus side, I have some help with all of that, thanks to my business manager Melina. But I also find myself working best in bursts, mostly driven by my admittedly ADHD-riddled imagination and often straight-up inspiration – which is awesome. I truly do feel divinely driven to do what I do – and I am blessed.

But what that means is that I end up NOT doing the things that are “boring,” like editing the anthology that I’ve been trying to get done for probably a year now. I hired an editor who waited until the very last possible minute to screw me over by not submitting any of the work – and who broke the contract from day one by not doing her edits in our shared document (which was supposed to protect me from this crap).

On a more positive note, I did eventually get my money back. But as I type this, the book still isn’t fully edited, and one of the contributors submitted a revised manuscript, which meant I had to sort of start over.

All of that to say this: I feel like this project fell through the cracks but I need to get it moving for a number of reasons, mostly because I believe it will help so many people and that is, after all, what I’m trying to do with my business.

With all of that being said, I did (finally) build the online jewelry store I’ve been promising my SPANily. It’s a collection of sort of motivational jewelry (bracelets and necklaces) that I give away in our group – but since I can’t afford to give them to everyone, I’ve now made it so they can purchase it if they don’t win.

So that’s cool.

Also, I built a new way for my clients to reach me (and for people who can’t afford or don’t prefer phone/Skype coaching) and to get coaching on a daily basis using activities and assignments that are personally developed and selected for them by me. This is, so far, going well. I like the interface and have had several signups. I spend a couple of hours reviewing the client’s notes and then create a program for them – and then go back and touch base with them monthly and create a new or at least updated program for them each month. I’m using a special app to make all of this work, and I’m VERY excited about it because I’m pretty sure I’m the only one in my niche doing this right now.

Today, I have a meeting with one of my BlissFireMedia bloggers and then a couple of client appointments, in addition to my weekly live stream with Dana Morningstar from Thrive After Abuse. And, I hope to get some marketing done for the two things mentioned above, as well as to record, edit and upload another video. Yeah, I’m kinda busy – but I so love it all and it feels so good to know I’m helping people.

Anyhoo. That is my boring brain dump for the day. And now, I’m off to try to get it all done. The life of an empath entrepreneur, you know? 🙂
